my efoil remote receiver is broken so i order new remote that comes with the receiver but the old receiver cable has different colors I know red to red black to black but the other twos anyone can help?
If I remember correctly there’s 2 sets of cables in the package that fit in there with 2 different color scheme.

Red is + and black is -, orange is tx and green is rx. Now if you switch the wirex orange and green nothign harmfull will happen, so go ahead and try. Otherwise search for Flipsky VX5 manual. And Blue connects to positive of the battery if you need that at all.

To make it waterproof 100% you would have to pot it in something like silicone or epoxy or put it inn a waterproof enclosure. Mine is inside a Flite board board that is very waterproof I put a bag over it with an elastic so if a bit of water slushed around it would survive that but it would not survive complete immersion.

Red is usually + and black is -, but I wouldn’t trust the other colors without checking the pinout first. Orange/green are often TX/RX, and swapping those normally won’t hurt anything, but getting power or battery sense wrong can. If you’ve got a meter, verify the pin order before powering it up.
