Help with Bremote Flycolor X-Cross BLHeliSuite32 setting

Hi everyone,
For my setup, I’m using the Flycolor X-Cross ESC (160A), a Bremote, and a 6384 120KV motor (dual motor with differential). My Bremote is configured as: No_Lock, No_Gears, and Thr+To_PWRUP.

The issue I’m facing is that as soon as I turn on the Bremote and engage it in Gear mode, the motor starts spinning immediately. Adjusting the throttle causes it to either speed up or slow down, but I can’t seem to get the motor to stay idle.

Does anyone know what I need to adjust to resolve this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I’ve followed videos from @ludwig_bre and posts from experts like @Jesserosco , which is what my setup is based on, but I’m still not sure what’s missing. I’m not too familiar with Flycolor, but they seem to work much better than Flipsky VESC in my experience.

For reference, my setup works flawlessly with the Flipsky V3 remote or a potentiometer. Additionally, the Bremote works perfectly with a Flipsky VESC but not as well with Flycolor.

If anyone could provide some insight, I’d really appreciate it – my brain is fried at this point.

Below are some of my current settings; please let me know if I’ve overlooked anything.

Try deselecting throttle cal enable and manually adjusting the min and max throttle. I think you need to raise the min throttle to not have it spin without throttle applied. You will figure it out when you start playing with the numbers.

Thanks @Jesserosco I’ll give it a shot. I’ve been doing that but no luck. I thought maybe on receiver side i need to adjust to reduce signal output voltage. The potentiometer and flipsky receiver puts out between .2 and .56 volts at signal but Bremote receiver puts out around .5 to .8 volts. But I keep fiddling around with x cross throttle setting. See if I can make the thing work. It works perfect with flipsky Vesc but not with xcross esc. Oh well The fun continues :joy:

and you deselected throttle cal enabled?

Hi @Jesserosco you are genius. Yes your method worked. Now I have to put everything back together and try it later this week, but thanks to your help I am miles further than were I was two hours ago. Here is snapshot of my configuration for anyone who might be interested.

This is by far not a optimal setup, just based on 100s of trial and error. Now that the throttle is working I might tweak rest of the settings. If anyone has good proven config for this type of ESC, please post it here for reference.

Thanks again @Jesserosco for your help as always
