Looking for a bit of help - I’ve built a foil assist using 12s set up with the Maytech 6579 motor and the K-parts g10 prop (3 blade, 160mm span).
I’m suffering from quite a lot of ventilation when I’m riding (pretty sure it’s ventilation not cavitation as I can give it full gas when I’m getting up with no issues, but when I’m riding and touch down the prop loses grip and over spins even at lower power)
I’ve got the pod fairly low on the mast for a foil assist, and I’m wondering if it’s a mismatch between motor power and prop design that’s causing me issues? Other options are poor taping or poor riding technique - or any other suggestions?
