Hisun Alibaba e foil motor replacement

Hi guys new here.
I purchased an alibaba Hisun efoil cheap here in New Zealand,the motor was seized due to water ingress,stripped it got it running but the magnets on the rotor had corrosion underneath them and the motor ultimately failed.

Anyway my question is this,i have contacted Hisun and they eant $850 usd to ship me a new motor and mast,they are all one piece.
This is ecpensive and i would rarther just have a readily avaliable motor for future failures if any.

If i could mod the mast would i be able to fit a flipsky 65161 motor and use the already functioning original esc and remote as the original motor is just a basic bldc motor.

The board and battery are in near mint condition and everything else works fine.

Any help would be greatfully received.

If you have the skills and knowledge, you could draw a custom motor mount, but it will require quite some skills, but im sure youll run into an ESC problem. Best bet is to buy a gong V2 setup (mast, mast plate, fuselage, wings) and print an exisiting mount and buy the flipsky 65161. The total amount will be roughly the same, but your setup will improve dramatically. Just not sure how the ESC will handle it, so it might require conversion to a VESC.
