Hi,
I am very new to the foil/efoil world.
I got myself a board that i understand is a Hisun board (sold as a norwegian brand under Control Powerfly name here in Norway).
This hisun board is the only foil/efoil board i have ever ridden.
Now i am playing with the idea of building my own board from scratch as many of you here are doing.
But is it worth it? I mean yes, its fun to do the build etc. But what will be better on a self built board vs Hisun board i already have? Can i make it lighter? Can i make it easyer to fly for beginners? can i make it go longer?
Or should i just modify the hisun board? In this case i am thinking of doing the board itself shorter, remove the prop guard, change propeller, and maybe change the foil wings? When going faster tha 80-85% i have to push the nose downwards due to the angle of the front wing. it looks weird and feals weird.
Any recomendations for complete DIY kits?
Feedbacks will be much apreciated as i try to learn and understand this sport/hobby.
