I have a variety of battery packs ranging in cells. Since many of our foils can function properly at different ranges of voltage(with varying performance), is it as easy as just adjust the cut off voltage on Vesc when you change them? Or is the performance of motor set for the initial voltage it was detected as? I know battery percentage doesn’t show up properly on remote since it wasnt originally setup for that voltage. I come from building and racing drones and you could swap any battery in the range that was supported and just go but wanted to make sure it would be the same with vesc. Couldn’t find it in the Vesc mobile app but wish you could just hit a button real quick in app when swapping the batteries, to have proper cutoff and remaining battery bar show accurately.
Sure, it’ll work just swapping and changing voltage cutoffs in vesc but the number of series of cells will probably also need to be updated on your remote.
