How to connect Maytech remote to Flipsky 75200 84v

Hello again,

How do I connect the Maytech receiver to the ESC? What connector should I use. Sorry but no experience with RCs, ESCs and so on. Thanks in advance!

Plug it into the “COMM” port.

5V → 5V
GND → GND
TXD → RX/SDA
RXD → TX/SCL

Or

5V → 5V
GND → GND
PWM → PPM

Is this correct?

Seems like the closest I can do compared to what your wrote is the following

ESC - RECEIVER:

5v - 5v
GND - GND
TX2/RX2 (maybe both?) - PWM

Nah, you can’t mix TX2/RX2 with PWM/PPM – they’re totally different data protocols. Gotta pick one or the other.
The simplest way is PPM to PWM 'cause it’s got fewer wires than RX/TX.

My bad, the PPM wire is labeled as Servo on your ESC case.

5V → 5V
GND → GND
PWM → Servo

Thanks!

I guess some of my confusion comes from the fact that the white cable in the bundle of “white/black/red” comes out of the ESC at TX2 instead of servo. Maybe it just looks like that because of the white sealant pushing the cable to another position?

It really be like that. Check out my ESC:
