How to Modify Std FR prop to fit 65161 / 65162 Motor

I have measured up the standard FR prop to see if it would fit the Maytech/Flipsky/Reacher 65161 motor.
The good news is that with some minor modifications it will!
Here is what you would need to do:

  • Drill the end hole out to 8mm
  • increase the depth wear the prop pin goes by 5mm
  • 3D print a little insert for the read of the prop to take up the extra space so that the M8 nyloc nut sits flush.

If you are skilled enough to do the above, then you should be able to purchase the standard prop.
Don’t try this on the folding prop though as the nut will get in the way when the prop folds.

Problem is you cant even purchase the FR prop, because he is too busy. He said 1 will be available in 1-2 months

Is that for his normal prop? He should be making them constantly as he supplies lift

i asked him for a flipsky prop

Yeah I’m talking about modifying his standard prop because that is more readily available…

oh thats cool can you make some pictures from the modification?
