I think the case is filled with silicone or epoxy. Not easy to re-use.
You ideally want the gen 1 or 2 battery that doesnt have the screws. They are super easy to crack open with a chisel and are easy to re-seal since nothing is broken in the 2 parts of the clamshell. The ones on FB are not only screwed together, they are also epoxied together and getting them open will most likely damage the case.
