Hello. Long story short.
Task - install FlipSky75200 (watercooled) in to old Efoil with saving OEM battery and remote control.
Reason - save granny from trash without paying a lot of money for Liftfoil electric box.
Original control unit has PPM output to set speed to ESC. It place on pin 1 (ppm) and 2 (GND) of 12 pins molex. Also you need to use pin 9 (+ 9v battery) and pin 10 (GND 9v battery).
You should leave other connectors as is.
Also power up procedure changes to - connect data cable to battery - powerup board - connect power cable to battery - powerup remote.
I’m now on setting up VESC stage, motor runs, remote works, but not enough speed to fly.
Update - i was find working settings for vesc -
Motor
General:
Motor type - FOC
Current - max 150, absolute max 200
Voltage - cutoff start 54.5, cutoff end 50
Temperature - sensor type - disabled
FOC:
General - sensor type sensorles, other use automatic measurement
Filters ( important! ) - enable phase filters - false
Advanced - observe type FOC_OBSERVER_ORTEGA_ORIGYNAL (this need for smooth motor start)
App settings
General:
General - app tu use - PPM and UART
PPM:
Control type - Current no reverse
Mapping - here is a bit of math needed - Puslelength center = Pulselength star + 0.050ms. Pulselength start and end depends on what vesc reads from control unit, don’t forget to set your remote to maximum speed (15).

To fit everything in to original box i rearrange compartment, move control unit closer to the right side, fuse now under control unit plate (3d printed), cut stands (without nuts) to fit 3d printed plate for 75200.
Cool that it works! Do you still receive any data or speed on the screen?
I even didn’t know that it’s possible. I receive battery state and if board fliped. Also I can set speed (power) level and seems it’s works because in vesc tool i see that control unit cuts pwn signal.
Cool. But you get battery data over PPM? Or do you have a separate voltage cable?
Vesc doesn’t receive any data from battery, but radio controller (original) does.
Seems electrically you can connect CAN from battery to VESC and receive some data, but VESC doesn’t understand OpenCAN or something similar that Liftfoil use.
Ah okay! My two cents. Sell the Lift remote / receiver, and get a Flipsky VX5. You’ll have all data available on your remote. If you land a good deal on your used lift remote you can almost get a new VX5 for the same price.

Agree. It was an owner decision. He operate school and rent service with this boards and it was important for him to keep all board identical.
Makes sense. Gotchu! Does the “gear” function still work? I never really understood how brand such as waydoo lift and Flite do it. Feel like it’s som sort of lock on erpm.
If i understand you right - you mean speed levels on remote. Fiftfoils cuts esc input signal. For example - full range of pwm input is from 1.100 to 2.100 ms, When you set speed level on remote to 7 ppm range sets from 1.100 to something around 1.500 ms (liftfoil levels is from 1 to 15). How board react to this changes depends on how ESC sets up.
