Hi,
Will I need to use Loctite when replacing the motor bearings (6800 and 6900) on a first gen Foildrive motor?
Any tips on what Loctite version is available in the Netherlands and will be up for the job?
Cheers,
Tristan

Generally, no. It depends on the quality (tolerance) of the bearing seat, in all my motors through the years only one has had loose bearings. They are designed to have a grip fit.
There are special bearing adhesives if you need it, i guess they are just a variant of the same anaerobic adhesive that is used in thread locking products like loctite.
Thanks, appreciate it
