Looking for Advice on a Removable DIY e-Foil Setup for My Wingfoil Board

First of all, thanks to this great community and for all the information I’ve been able to pick up from the posts.
So here’s my project, I own the following wingfoil board :

  • Gong hipe perf inflatable board 5,5’ 125L
  • 85cm mast
  • Gong V3, 95cm 1400cm2 front wing
  • Gong V3, 44cm 280cm2 stabilizer
    (80kg rider)

and I’d like to outfit it with a removable e-foil kit.
I was thinking of FlipSky, specifically the 65161, 120kw motor, the Flipsky FSESC 75300 controller, I’d like your opinions.

I want to be able to ride the e-foil when wind conditions aren’t favorable for wingfoiling and then remove it so I can keep progressing in wingfoil.

Do you have any recommendations?
Has anyone already tried fitting this type of board?
Thanks in advance.
Steve

Welcome😊

The motor and VESC choice are common for full Efoil use! Most use 75200 but the 75300 is even more capable - Physical size of VESC is a consideration. Make sure you get round shaft for motor.

Time to switch modes and drag from motor phase wires might drive the purchase of a second mast.

Cooling of the VESC will need to be addressed.

You don’t mention battery/size, remote choice, prop choice, motor mount and how you are going to house the components.

Lots of info here - keep reading😉
