What are your thoughts on the problems and durability of the Flipsky-FSESC 75200 Pro 75V 84V 200A compared to the Makerbase MKSESC 84200HP? Are there any other low-cost ESC options worth considering in this category?
I’m not sure anyone has tested the Makerbase. I have seen some failures of them due to lazy QC which could easily be avoided with visual inspection. I’ve been debating trying one simply because they are so cheap.
Have 10+ pcs of the MKS 84100hp in different prototypes motors now, and a few 84200 on test bench. They have been reliable.
On my assist the 84100HP is fully potted. Only the HP line in Makerbase works well in my experience, the other are troublesome.
