Simply a VX3 in a different housing

Looks like a copy of the Flipsky product (VX3), just like the Makerbase 75/200 VESC is basically a 1:1 copy of the Flipsky one…
For the VESC I can say the quality is quite good, better than Flipsky even for a lower price…

Aliexpress ad says it not fully waterproof, more for eskate and rainproof than efoil duty… As vx3

3 options I see:

1. To coat with something in order to improve waterproofness, do you have some suggestions?
2. To move all the pieces to new custom body
3. To try using it as is

Looks identical to the VX3.

Just use it until it breaks.

I managed to save my VX3 after some water ingress by injecting some Araldite in a small hole I made next to the ribbon at the bottom of the front of the screen. I also covered all the edges at the rear between their potting and the case. it seems to hold fine now.

It is a transparent epoxy? Otherwise it can block the view…
