Maytech receiver voltage

I have an unused Maytech remote receiver that has 3V screened onto it for its supply voltage. Though all online documentation seems to say 5V.

Were there different versions of the receiver? Is this an error? Is it a voltage range and wouldn’t die if I supplied it 5V?

Unfortunately Maytech hasn’t replied to me, so I’m hoping someone here knows.

I once had the same question for Maytech. Here is the answer. I supplied my RX with 2S from the balancer port.
