Maytech V3 remote — motor hits full RPM at 25% throttle with Flycolor X-Cross HV3 ESC

Hey all

I’m running a Flycolor X-Cross HV3 160A BLHeli_32 ESC on 12 S with a Saite 6384 120 KV motor and Maytech MTSKR1905WF V3 remote.

The issue: the motor reaches full RPM at only 25 % trigger travel — anything beyond that does nothing.

I can’t connect to BLHeliSuite32 (ESC powers up and beeps, but always “connection failed”), so I can’t adjust throttle endpoints there.

Has anyone fixed this just using Maytech remote settings?

  • Is there a throttle calibration mode on the remote?
  • Does the HV3 auto-calibrate throttle if powered while holding full trigger?

Any help from others running a Maytech V3 + Flycolor HV3 combo would be awesome

Did you work this out? I have a question for you about wiring between the BEC (I have MatekSys) and Flycolor X-Cross and the Maytech Receiver . The BEC I have has 4 wires - 2 of them I’m pretty sure need to connect to the main battery +ve and ground to pull in the 10S volts … I think the third +ve wire goes the receiver to provide the 5v power … but I seem to have a spare ground - the receiver has a ground from the ESC already?
