Who knows how to actually downwind? Any tips here?
I’ve never towed on a foil. Here’s a youtube where Zeke Lau tow’s straight downwind to start. They also barely hold onto the rope. They’re off within seconds of getting up on foil. Maybe a technique to try next time.
Would be good to learn beach start downwinding, I think a big side/onshore wind would be idea from a nearby reef or outside point and angle down the beach. Watch JJF and Nathan on this:
