How do you like the thruster wings? @Rienk

I realy like it because you can get up to high speed, 45km/h with my geared setup. The lowest speed That I can foil is 15km/h (I am only 60kg).

Does it handle carving well?

I really like the idea with the PVC tube, can we make the other parts in 3D printing?

It is not as easy as my other (slower) foil but if you get some feeling for it, you can.

I hate to use a 3d printed for thin parts that need to be strong so I did never try it. Also my cnc is much more acurate about 1/100mm so it fits way better than any 3d printed parts. I know I just have a crappy printer and there are much better ones now but I still am not a big fan of it.

I’m the same as you. I much prefer to use my CNC and it’s also much faster!

Many Speed for the Solas Prop?
What rpm you have?

I did not test the flipsky motor and the solas prop. I was talking about my geared setup with aluminium prop. I have an 800kv ss motor with 1:6 reduction so high speed and lots of torque. I run it on 14s

Hi crowd,

Klonck at start? Someone facing Same behavior?

Flipsky 65161 and 200a VESC6 200a

Cheers!

Sounds like a lose prop?

 sounds reasonable, let me check

Indeed,it’s better now. Actually I want to run the wizard now since I am done with my built. I am struggling now with the Motor wizard which settings to be chosen. @Jsonnett and @Flightjunkie could you please support me on this?

Or anybody else

You want foc, you go on motor config screen directly , run detection … , apply and save config in folder

You go on setting setting motor screen , put max values …

You can save several different values in folder and do a real life test , go back to shore ( or not) upload another setting until you find the one you like

That is the way I did it , by phone or by pc , you change one thing at the time and test to see what I does

It depends about weight, wing type , board size

A couple days ago my membership card showed up for the 75/300 club.
My first question is. All The input connectors on the 75/300 VESC use a slightly smaller connector than everything I have used in the past. What are you guys using for connectors?

Very nice.
Dam, I wired mine up last night and I forgot to add a fuse.
I like the clear plastic over the vesc with openings cut where you need them.
Am I correct that this VESC has a blue tooth module already installed? What does the meter module you have give you that the VESC does not give you on blue tooth? Where did you purchase that module?
Do you know the part number for the 3 wire connector that inserts into the PPM remote receiver spot?
My VESC came with a little jumper, It says “Close circuit to power device”. I don’t see it on yours?

You’re build is looking good!

Good choice on the 75/300 VESC. I love mine. I towed a friend yesterday on his SUP foil board. We were both on foil, towed him into some waves. Probably 15 minutes of towing. Nothing overheated. Great setup!

Your question about the plugs, I think your asking about the small connectors or the PWM signal, VESC TX RX and other small pins? Those are JST PHR 2.0mm plugs. Here’s a link.
