Hi
I have talked to EVE in China quite a lot.
We are ordering the new EVE 50PL cells, directly from them. They will arrive via DAP within a week after pick and pack.
At the moment we have available 120 cells.
Brand new grade A with all dicuments from EVE.
They will be inbounded in Switzerland and officially imported through me.
Price per cell incl. DAP without taxes 5.25 CHF.
Anyone interested.
If someone needs more, batch size is 130pcs/pack.

Why the EVE’s? There’s been an insane amount of critic on the cells on Facebook forum. I’ve had a batch too which discharged itself to 0 within a few months, luckily I was able to return them. Got the Reliance RS50’s instead.
There were some degraded eve 50PL pre production cells on the market, I also got some from nkon. I got a refund and ordered reliance rs50 instead. The price for rs50 is quite reasonable if you’re outside EU (like CH), 2.6€ plus shipping and tax. I haven‘t built the pack yet but the tests from mooch are promising.
Grade A 50PL production cellls are supposed to be ok regarding self discharge. I think it was those bad cells that somewhat ruined their reputation. I blame it on nkon for selling them, although they must have known.
Yeah there were quite some bad cells out there, read many bad stories on them everywhere on the facebook pages, that even Mooch (you can search him up) removed the 50PL’s from his charts/lists. Same for me, bought the RS50’s too, ive built two packs now, but havent had the time to test them in the water (well, actually, its just freaking cold). The RS50’s are one of the best cells out there right now with great lifecycle numbers based on Pajda his testing (see patreon / forums). Also, they arrived perfectly in balance and were pretty cheap if you ask me.
Hi,
Thank you for the information.
I haven’t read it yet—could you perhaps post a link or two?
I haven’t placed my final order yet. Since the cells are directly from EVE, I expect the quality to be good.
I wanted to reduce a 14S14P battery with Molicell P42 to a 14S10P. The reasons were lower weight and, due to the high A rating, the cells would have been top notch in terms of specs.
Can the Reliance deliver 30A continuously without thermal problems?
Thanks Fabian
Hey, offcourse.

The Reliance RS50’s can do 30A continiously, but i doubt youll be pulling that, in a 14S10P config that means you are pushing 300A (10x30). THe most ive seen with battery current is like 100-120A. Battery current isnt the same as motor current!
See below a littel data sheet with the RS50.
Big credits to Pajda for the testing, I copied this from google pictures, but this remaisn intellectual proerty of Pajda.
And def check this sheet out:
Hi,
Thanks for sharing the links.
About your point with discharge and max Amps.
At the moment I am pulling 200A continiously with Max Phase 400/450. I am running a Lehner TorQstar 7065 with an MGM 30063.
So the 200A are staying often for more than just a few seconds.
Hm, now I am totally confused.
Is this for an efoil? That seems very inefficient.
I think it is for a jetboard, you get high currents if you plow a bourd through the water…
Yes a jetsurf board. Thats the reason why I am consuming so many Amps
That makes sense then. I’d keep the 14S14P config and use either RS50/JP50/XG50.
Hi @DutchFoiler yes sticking to the 14S14P would be the easiest.
Due to the fact, that my little daughter is riding the jetboard I would rather go to a lighter setup.
She doesn´t need that much capacity and so a lighter configuration was my idea.
Does anyone of you know someone who can do the soldering/spotwelding of batteries (area Zurich/Konstanz). Sure, I would pay for it.
BR Fabian
