OK, so thinking about a new build…
This will be an electric surf rescue board, but still want to be able to stand up and party.
So…
2 x MHZ 58s.
2 x Their recommended scorpion HK-5035/760KV
2 x makerX 300A VESC
2 x 36 Ah 12S batteries.
2 x Alienpower anti spark switches
The theory is that it is too hard to punch 12kw through Switch, battery, VESC and wires. By having a dual system, I will lose about 15% of efficiency, but it is all smaller, easier and more reliable. By running two seperate systems, the only common mode failure will be the remote.
The downside is the remote will not be able to give me the data from two VESCs. Thinking that I will have a display built into the board to give that data.
