I assume other than the FETs touching aluminium so that they have some cooling…
The only way it’s getting cooling is that whole esc in in back pack getting dunked in water

Looks great! I’ve got a similar setup — do you happen to have pics of the drilled holes?
This is my complete setup the box is ip68 rated which is heavy at 2kg without battery but it does not get a spec of moisture in it and it’s strong. Fits in camel pack easy and is really comfortable don’t really notice it. One con is cable can be annoying but the lightweight board riding feeling out weighs the cable issue. I thinking of designing a vest or belt for battery next. Flexible battery watertight.
Oh I want to try this esc to see if can still get up going.? Might get more run time with less current draw.
Also not having any problems with cooling yet
My foil setup is Armstrong HA 980 with 180 speed tail but I can easy get up on my HA 780 as well. I want to get a Ha 1180 to slow it down on small waves and so I can learn how to pump
