Yes I shouldn’t have used the term “viable” in that context.
I was suggesting a simple method to test whether the battery can accept a charge/discharge cycle. It appears that the rig is used and is in unknown condition. If the battery isn’t capable of this then additional cost would be required for a new battery pack.
I have tried to get some more information about this hisun battery from some different vendors.
Btw, battery was on 60% when purchased. Charged to 94% still same voltage as for 4 days ago.
Will try to find a e-scooter motor and see what works.
After check you might want to discharge it to 36V. It’s not good to have it fully loaded since it ages the cells.
