Hi Guys.

Hi Guys.

An unfortunate accident, but I doubt it has anything to do with the product. Were you using a guarded prop?
More detail of the crash would be good, but sounds like you continued to hold the trigger during the crash.
Some efoils use accelerometers and gyros to detect the angle of the board and stop the motor during a crash. Unsure if Waydoo does this.
Most efoils have unguarded propellor options. If you are worried, use a guard or a jet. Or stay home and play video games.
Life has risks.
Based on the video you post it doesn’t look like your hand was anywhere near the prop when you fell if it was even you.
The rider falls off with arms pointed away from the board and the board is banked so that the prop isn’t on the side the rider fell in on.
I call BS:face_with_raised_eyebrow: and am reporting your post to moderator.
There are a ton of discrepancies in this click bait vid - you should feel ashamed of yourself.
Sorry to hear about your injury, looks pretty bad. Did the board malfunction causing the injury? I assume so since the video specifically addresses waydoo as being the problem, not technique or user error.
This is hazard with any efoil product without a guard around the propeller. In some cases you can still have an injury with the prop guard in place. More information is needed in order to see what lessons can be learned from your accident.
This is a scam post. Just look at the youtube account. Someone’s just asked AI to stich together a video about this.
Sorry to hear this. I don’t understand how this could possible happen. When I fall I always try to fall away from the board the motor is heavy and always stay submerged unless you give it full power but my remote only works very close to the board. I have never been close to the prop after a year of riding. I usually have a long swim to get back to the board. Can you elaborate how this happened if it is true.
What a load of rubbish, grow up . Not Waydoo’s fault , pilot error.
" The thrill is always proportionate to the risk"
I write this as I nurse a cut on my chest from the stab after a big wave wipe out yesterday. nobody’s fault but mine. " Who dare win".
Without the likes of Waydoo providing the tools
life would be boring. " If your not living on the edge your taking up too much room"
