Any discussion on potting batteries?
Have lost a pack to mositure ingress - found rust on several cells.
Thinking of options for foam in between cells with silicone coating to encapsulate pack so its totally waterproof.

Did an epoxy potting of 12S2P recently, in epoxy with a printed case.
I went to the water twice with it so far, but not a lot of experiance other than thant. It is also a small pack. on a bigger pack I would be worried with thermal expension, and would use some kind of two part silicon to do the potting instead of epoxy.
Luna cycle used to do epoxy potted ebike packs, in 14S5p or more.
Interested how they solve the ventilation requirements in the UN38 certification with potted batteries? Seems a full potting could render venting useless, especially for cells in the middle of the pack.
