Hello,
I have just got Flipsky 7070 motor with ceramic bearings. Seems it has a problem - axial play. It it normal for this engine? If, not - could you please point me where I can buy good ceramic or stainless steel bearings for 7070.
I have replaced the bearings.
- First remove the stopping closing ring and two thin rings.
- Bind something to the engine stator, to pull it.
And extract stator from rotor. - Knock out old bearings using a pin 9-10mm in diameter. I used screwdriver from ikea tool set. If the first bearing isn’t moving - try to remove the second. After that it be easier to remove the first.
- Push the new bearings (SKF 61900ZZ). 15 socket spanner head helped to knock it in. Also I put a bit of waterproof grease to the landing nests. I hope it will help to remove the bearings easier next time.
Replacing the bearings solved my issue. Rotation is smooth and quiet now.
