Sequre 14200M BL Heli32 settings

Hi all,
Has anyone found any good settings for the Sequre 14200M ESC. Using a Flipsky 6384 with 3 blade prop and mostly 11s batteries.

I have previously used Flycolor X-Cross 160A ESCs but have had issues with it stuttering and cutting out under high load on all of them.

Hoping this new ESC will be the magic bullet to solving my desync.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

Following as well, been having same desync/cutout issues with Flycolor and Sequre 12200 under high load (>70%).
I am now trying a Flipsky 75100 pro v2 and will report if that has similar issues (hoping i can fix it with VESC settings).

Flipsky 75100 doesn’t have the same issues as the XCross. Our experience is that over approx 2000W the XCross cuts out. Like for like replacement with 75100 fixes it.

Same problem with Samsung 50S 12S2P
Perhaps we need better quality cells

It doesnt seem to have anything to do with cells. I have batteries with 50S, Molicel P45B, and EVE PL50 cells, all have the same outcome. it seems to be current/load related with the X-Cross ESC.

Damn thats not what i was hoping to hear having just build a unit with a Sequre 14200M. Looks like they have very similar architecture but can support 14S. Where you using these both with current limit on - when you saw cutout over 70% throttle?

with 2P battery ? or more ?

Just thought I would give an update on this. Just had my first session using the Sequre 14200M.
It has completely solved my issues. No desync what so ever.

Using my smallest possible foil and board setup. :call_me_hand:t3:

Nice glad to hear! Which version did you get and do you have Any pics of your setup?
How are you finding the weight/size compared to the 12200?
Might order one soon… thank you!

Great news. Did you get the BLHeli version? If so, would you screenshot your settings when you get a chance? Thanks.

@foiling_moose I found the problem of cutouts with Sequre 12200
This is due to the negative wiring, it should have been wired in a star configuration.
How was yours wired ?

Could you explain it more precisely please ?

My english is too poor to explain, so I send this picture

The Sequre 14200M has a built in BEC so no need for an external BEC as you have drawn. Negative and 5V out from ESC can go straight to RX :call_me_hand:t3:

Have you tested and confirmed the star wiring setup made an improvement? Good to know for other ESCs

Sorry, I read too quickly, I thought you were talking about the 12200. (I have one 14200M too, no cutout)

Yes no more problem with star wiring setup. I verified with two 12200 setups

Interesting because I’ve often got small cutouts on my boogie. Manageable but I don’t know where it comes from and it is on the ESC with BEC. Weirdly, more cutouts on the beginning of the session.

If I understand between BEC and Receiver you only connect a PLUS 5V ?
