Thinking about trying to convert a skim board into an efoil. I don’t think it will be enough to float. Maybe im not sure. Has anyone tried this? I’m thinking of using a large board just to try and have as much footing as possible.
When it comes to size there are some really small builds that have been done:
A boogie board would need modification to mount a foil mast to it. I think it could probably work but I don’t know if I’ve seen an efoil build based on one.
Id put a rail block in it for sure, then either double layer fiberglass or carbon. I’m worried about it getting lost in the lake however. I just realized I meant to say skim board wow
