Got to see a prototype on the beach a few months ago, looked clean and well thought out. Wish they would make an adapter to connect to the current phantasm wings, but doesn’t sound like they will…
The idea of using shims in opposite directions certainly isn’t new but using them this way is a great idea.
My only concerns would be the cable mechanism that pulls them together might not stand up if corroded and the potential to get some sand in there and having a big challenge getting it apart.
Yeah I reserve judgement until I get to play with it. There was a video dumping sand in there to get in the mechanism. Fred Hope on Instagram: "Not sure who puts their foil together in the sand but many have asked. So here’s a little video showing that sand does not affect the One-Lock foil set up."
