Has anyone got a good source for those ceramic bearings Flipsky uses?
Locally I can only find some at really high prices and AliExpress has loads of vendors with unknown quality.

Most people I know, including myself, switch to stainless bearings, since they will last longer and are more telling before they fail.
Good source in Germany is https://www.kugellager-express.de
They seem to sell ceramic too
Yes, I have been doing that too.
But I have been going back to mixed, one stainless, one ceramic for the smaller bearings and I am convinced the motor runs smoother.
But I am running out of those bearings.
Guess I can try Flipsky directly.
The link above does not have them?
no and the ceramic bearings they actually have are all pretty pricey at >EUR 20 a piece.
Have you tried this, less than 10EUR? - https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32832136382.html
Was mentioned here in ~2024
The SS JZN were shity. In fact I don’t know of any AliExpress bearings which are quality for our sea water usage.
How can you cheap on such an important item as bearing? Especially the ceramic ones, which are known to have problems.
Well, wisdom comes with experience…
We are talking about a 100 EUR motor.
I’d say it would be pretty odd to replace the three bearings for almost 90 EUR. I just want the same ones that came with the motor.
Flipsky does not sell spares.
