What happens to the SSS 56114 KV360 if it is used in water without waterproofing?

If you replace them with SS ones and por little more varnish on coils it should work fine.

I assume you could “waterproof” it the same way as people do witch 63xxx outrunners.Coat stator and rotor with epoxy and change the bearings to stainless. Keep the coating thin to allow it to spin freely.

With a 360kv motor which is 3 times the consensus (100-120kv), you’ll have to reduce the battery voltage and/or the propeller diametre.
