Stainless steel bearings

Which high-quality, tested stainless steel bearings would you recommend?

Should they be sealed for protection against sand?
Bearings with a sealed design (e.g., deep groove ball bearings with 2RS seals)

This is all I’ve found on the forum so far:

But NSK and EZO cost $10-$15
Add H to the part number

I think 2RS is the way to go. Keeps out sand and traps grease.
I’ve ended up sourcing quality bearings locally rather than AliExpress lottery.
Ironic thing is that many of the big name bearings are made in China but hopefully with good quality control.

Brand bearings don’t come cheap but i never had a noname bearing being worth it. The kugellager… bearings were decent though.

I’d say: get nsk, fag, skf etc and spend the time riding!
