Anyone here found a nice elegant way to switch between the remote receiver and the wifi (or whatever you have) programming module? I’d love to leave both potted inside my enclosure and switch to play around with ESC settings without having to cut things apart.
Maybe a nice small waterproof switch or something? Or am i being silly? There are so many parameters I’m worried that I might not have it dialed in properly and will want access to tweaking this.
I’m already committed to Sequre esc and escape32 for this build unfortunately. And the maytech receiver since I have them from previous builds. I’ll have a look as to what maytech thing you’re talking about though. Thanks. I’m only aware of their antispark switch setup which is overkill for switching the 5V 2a rail in my case.
Yes. That’s the module I’m using. Just want to switch between that and the receiver since both can’t be active simultaneously on the signal line as far as I’m aware. That and not confident that little WiFi board won’t overheat if it’s always on.
Yeah. Exactly. The reed switches I’ve used all seem to fragile for this. Looking at Hall effect relays but that’s a bit much for me in terms of complexity (requiring power and all). Currently looking at capacitive touch switches. Some are are rated ip68. But they’re pretty big 16mm buttons and pretty beefy. But I think that’s the only simple solution so far. Curious how those do with false triggering while submerged.
