Take off mast integrated motor

Hi everyone.

after having a few steep and sometimes cost intensive learning curves, I thought I change my approach this time

Please see the pictures below. The cable of the integrated mast is a bit short, and the current location of the connector is a bit unfortunate let’s say. Therefore, I would like to replace the cable and have the connection within the board next to the box. To do this, I would need to take off the motor. I thought I take these three screws off and I should find my way. But after I took off the screws, it was still sitting tight as. Nothing moved at all.

Coming back to my initial comment about steep and cost intensive learning curves. Can someone give me a hint or two how I can get the motor off the mast?

I would not remove the motor. I would either lengthen the cable near the plug or have an adaptor plate that takes the FD plug and then runs a second cable into the board.
