Interesting, I think the biggest challenge is going to be draft. Can see a lot of folks hitting sandbanks and reefs etc which could end in disaster.

For the responsible, knowledgeable waterman its amazing.

So true. Just because something looks cool doesn’t mean it’s safe. If you hit a rock and loose your drive train, you can retract your foils and… you’re left stranded like in any other watercraft…
