TIP: Another way of using Amphenol UTX connectors instead of using Pneumatic Quick fittings

Today I needed a way to be able to disconnect (and connect) some of my water cooling 7mm water hose.

Unfortunately I did not have any pneumatic quick fittings.

My father just installed some new solar panels, and had some Amphenol UTX electric connectors over.

Guess what… The 7mm water hose fits perfectly inside the amphenol UTX. (both male and female), and it is 100% watertight.

So now I too have disconnectable water hoses.
