Tow Boogie help

I’ve been toying with the idea of building a tow boogie for a long time now. Every time I start to seriously look into it I feel stifled by my lack of technical/engineering knowledge.

Is there anyone out there who would be willing to walk me through the main process/parts/steps?

I live in Southern California and would be willing to meet in person, but I could also meet through zoom or something similar.

I have a boogie board, a mast I’m willing to use for it, and access to a 3D printer.

I’d be willing to trade as well. I’ve made hollow wood sups, and foil boards for the past decade and would work toward something like that for someone depending on the amount of help given.

Thanks in advance.

Hello,
There is a huge community of foilers named Los Angeles foil club with a group of people specialized in toW boogie in Malibu beach. Try to contact them to be added to there whatsapp group

Thanks! Just posted there.

Hey dude, i hope you find some good assists for your boogie assist.

One tip i would give is that these projects often involve different areas of expertise. You might need one friend who does 3d printing and another friend who knows electronics. Some people can do it all, but it’s probably easier to find two friends with different expertise. You gotta take a leap of faith and try to stitch everything together. Best of luck!
