Under water remote connection

I’m currently designing a foil assist motor with battery and all components in one unit and was wondering if anyone has an idea of getting the connection to the remote without putting a antenna via a cable to the top of the board and is it possible to do something like boost fin do as they don’t have a cable running to the board. Thanks :+1:

It‘s physics, hard to trick. You could use a remote with a lower frequency, i.e. in the 400MHz band. Most commercial Receivers are in the 2.4GHz range, which can hardly penetrate water.

I think this would be the way to go. Or use acoustic principle.

Even harder to beat in salt water!
