Traditionally I have been using the Trampa VESC 75/300. Recently I started using the Flipsky FSESC 75200. I am using the same exact equipment and the same exact VESC Tool Settings.
The results?
The Trampa will run the battery down to the desired battery voltage cutoff start and end.
The Flipsky will start cutting the motor earlier and I will end up with a battery with more charge after the session.
Basically the trampa is able to power the motor at the low charge for longer. The flipsky will always cut the motor sooner.
What does this mean?
We get a bit longer sessions on the Trampa.
I’ve tried tweaking the cutoff settings to confirm my findings.
Side note: The motor makes vastly different sounds between the two ESCs. The flipsky is much more noisy but is also a more smooth start. The trampa is a bit jittery on the low RPMs.
