They are quite back logged. Everyone is having this problem.

I would say it’s probably safe to just flash this file. But, do so at your own risk if you haven’t been told to by Trampa!
These all shipped with the wrong firmware and they aren’t bricked, so sounds like it’s safe to flash the other firmware.
I flashed the R2 firmware, and it works.

That is what Trampa answered:
You can flash the R2. We had a hand full of v1.12 with the R1FW delivered. That caused the BLE issues. Please install the R2 FW.

Yep. Updating to this firmware fixed my 75/300 VESC
I just got a new VESC 75/300… This is is able to connect but it says the following:
After the warning, the system brings me to this page!Should I press upload on this screen to update it?

if you want to use the current android app, you will have to.
Other option is to get older android app and downgrade your phone.
Still first of all I would connect it to a PC and set up everything. then you can do the fine adjustments via the phone. IMHO the android app is very disorganized compared to the PC app, so to keep track on all the options I strongly recommend the PC app with all the additional information provided.
I will do that then! I uploaded the new firmware and I keep getting the same error when I connect it again! There might be some sort of glitch with the app but it works fine on my PC.
I flashed it with R2 and now it works perfect! 
What’s the firmware version you are using? 3.62 or 3.63?
I flashed with 3.62.
That’s the one I currently have! But they have 3.63 now and I’m having a hard time uploading this update!

Well it doesn’t upload properly! However, the vesc works on my PC that has the old 3.62 firmware vesc tool.
I was able to set up my FR motor with the new vesc 75/300 and it seems to be running smoothly!! However, is it normal that I hit top rpm at 25% of throttle on my remote? Will this fall into place once under load? @Alexandre any thoughts?
Yes that’s normal. In current control mode if there is no prop resistance it will reach max rpm at a low current. Essentially think of your throttle controlling the amount of current put through to the motor.
I can’t wait to try mine out. I still gotta shape my board and do some soldering. So much soldering and wiring!

To those of you with the 75/300 VESC…
I’m a bit behind the curve. 
Never used a VESC before. I got it bench tested and working with both the FR motor and the 65150 motor.
Wondering what settings you guys are using. Or things worth taking note of, and changing manually. Like motor timing. FOC vs BLDC. The FR motor worked well in FOC but the 65150 didn’t work at all on FOC, but worked good on BLDC.
Also, data logging. How do I data log telemetry? I have an Android phone. Wondering what APPs you guys use, and if I need a separate Bluetooth dongle?
Any information is appreciated.
I haven’t been able to find much information on the 75/300, the VESC APP, or setup of VESCs in general.
