My new VX3 Pro won’t charge anymore. It turns on, works, but does not respond to charging. The charging itself is fine. Has anyone had experience with repairs?
I don’t have the Pro but I have had mine be a little stubborn sometimes.
I think my issue was caused by placing the handle on the charge pad on the wrong side to start and then flipping it over.
I just let it sit for a few minutes and when I tried again starting in the correct orientation it works
I am convinced that the fast charging module is dead. Can anyone recommend a replacement?
The waterproofing of the remote control is also not particularly good. Water has already entered the display.
Strange my VX3 did the opposite it would charge but it would not turn on. There was no physical damages and it had only been used a few times. In the end I purchased another one and after a lot of back and forth discussions Flipsky replaced it on warranty. Looks like the charging and operating circuits are Independent.
BREmote of course ! Absolute no brainer, support someone who supports the group and way better product.

Flipsky offered to send me a new remote control. A stark contrast in customer service compared to Maytech.

Can you tell me what “new” feature(s) the Pro has that prompted you to buy it vs the original?
I purchased the Pro only expecting more range. In practice, I did not find this and now I would rather buy the old version for 30% cheaper.

will be $95 including shipping. So it is only $10 more than the regular version.
According to my and others experience of water entering the display , I recommend sealing the display before use. Cover the top when doing it.
Current price for original is $71.50 USA marked down from $95. Current price for pro is $110
I just got a new original and the screen is a lot brighter than the first two I have been using Current firmware is 1.8.1 and cannot be upgraded - supposedly the pro can be.
I have not had a screen problem with mine in fresh water.
