Where to purchase batteries

I am looking at putting together my first foil assist using a Maytech 6579 kit. I am going to run the battery in a backpack to keep weight off the board so was thinking 48v 20Ah in a pelican case. Does anybody have any advice on the best size/voltage battery to run with this system and where to purchase it from. I am based in Australia

Hi, I’m using 2x6s BoltX HV Lipos in series (12s) with 8500mAh, from Hobbyking. I’m very happy with this configuration. Wanted to make self built LiFePO4 battery but finally decided for the quick and easy solution.

I’m using a 2 channel 6s AC/DC universal charger, like the SkyRC Q100neo (this is the one I’m using) or HOTA D6 Ultra. Or maybe an ISDT charger, with ISDT BattAir Plugin (6s) for monitoring and automatic discharge to storage level, for protection.

Regarding the ride time - so far I always preferred to stay on the safe side… after about 1/2 hour ride they are discharged by 60% (40% remaining capacity).
