It is a power limit. Im not sure if you van read their vesc. I can get a friend to try though…

I think you are referring to me.
I rebuilt a FD Assist Plus after the electronics died, and using ERPM limiting made it feel the same way as before.
So as far as I know, this is what they do. But this doesn’t exclude the possibility that they use an ERPM and motor amp combination in ESC programming.
Battery amp limits wouldn’t work because of the power range required.
I’m interested in all the different ways they could do it, and maybe one day someone gets into a unit to verify.
They have said multiple times on their own groups they use power limiting. ERPM limiting does not protect the batteries so makes absolutely no sense.
