BREmote Kits for Sale

My (our) vote goes for:

Why? We already have a box named like this, and we still have some room left in it

I too am going with “Random Useful Junk (Probably)”

I have a big box of just this. It is like a treasure trove of random Efoil bits.

To all the hoarders around here: Random Useful Junk (Probably) !!

@JasminRM and @ludwig_bre ,

I have a second Bremote v2 kit on order due to arrive tomorrow with a plan to build and pair up to my current tow boogie so my son can use it as well as me.

If I hold off building the kit, would I be able to order extra parts to integrate the gps follow me feature when it becomes available? Just trying to determine if the follow me gps is an add on or whether it needs a completely new kit.

Many thanks,

James

The follow me requires a GPS module in Rx and Tx
For Rx there is no change
For Tx the Top PCB needs some components removed and a wire added, and you need a different 3D printed part.

Thats all, and is described here:

Thanks for this.

In the rx is it the gps module that is currently already for sale as an option with the Bremote v2 on openfoil? If so, I already have that.

I’ll then need an extra gps module for me rx, the connector plus the printed part. Correct?

Thanks,

James

Sadly no

You will need 2x GPS module, they come with the connectors, and the 3D printed part

Ok. No problem. I’m very happy that this feature is coming.

Dear Ludwig,
is the final GPS module the Bn-220?
Great feature, thanks!

Robert

This is the current favorite, yes. But I cannot 100% confirm this as the development is still going on.

Very interested in the follow me mode and will be starting my first build this winter.

OpenFoil Update - New Packaging & V2 Nano Coming Soon

Hi everyone,

Just a quick update from our side

We’ve prepared new packaging for BREmote V2 and V2 Nano. It’s cleaner, better organised, and designed to further protect electronics during shipping. Small details, but important ones.

And the big news:
The BREmote V2 Nano will officially go on sale at the end of February, together with the launch of our new online store.

The new store will be simpler, clearer, and easier to navigate - something many of you have been asking for. We’re putting a lot of effort into making the whole experience smoother.

Thanks again for all your support and feedback. This project continues to evolve because of this community.

More updates soon!

I don’t find NANO V2 on your website, normal ?

Is it possible to order the first version of Bremote?

When will the Nano version be available for sale?

Hey everyone,

For those following along with the development here, I’m excited to announce that a massive upgrade is almost ready: BREmote V3 (Beta).

Building on the incredible foundation from LudwigBre and Janrusher, V3 is a huge leap forward. Here is a quick teaser of what is included:

  • Fully Working TX/RX GPS: Real-time speed directly on the handheld remote.
  • GPS Anti-Spoofing & Safety Gates: Rigorous coordinate cross-checking between the remote and the board.
  • Flash Data Logging: Onboard logging of VESC telemetry, GPS, and voltage, downloadable over WiFi.
  • V3 Config Studio: A brand-new offline HTML config tool.
  • Return-to-Me (RTM) & Follow-Me (FM): The compass and GPS logic for autonomous tracking are fully operational!

🛠️ Beta Testers Needed: My dual-motor buggy is waiting on a new VESC, so I need a few people with working setups to help test the hardware in the wild. If you're interested, please sign up via this Google Form.

⚠️ Please Note: Because V3 introduces so many new features and architectural changes, follow updates and discussion here.👉 (https://foil.zone/t/bremote-future-development-topic/20820/267)

Please head over to the new thread to read the full release details, grab the source code, and leave any questions, thoughts, or feature requests. Let's keep all V3 discussion over there so it's easy to track!

PS: I also have a NANO and plan to add a micro M100 GPS to use it with V3 as well. BTW, the v3 already supports M10 GPs chip!

:loudspeaker: BREmote V2 Nano DIY Kit pre-orders are now open!

The new V2 Nano version is now available for pre-order and includes the new display module in the kit price .
