Shipping Fee Update, VAT & Commitment to Transparency

We want to take a moment to thank you for your continued support and trust in OpenFoil. We’re committed to delivering not only high-quality DIY tech, but also a smooth and fair shopping experience.
Over the past 48 hours, we identified a technical error that temporarily affected the shipping fee displayed on our product page for the BRemote V2 DIY Kit. As a result, some customers may have been charged a higher shipping rate than intended.
We’re happy to report that the issue has now been fully resolved. We’re also conducting a full review of our checkout and tax settings to be 150% certain everything works exactly as it should.
No VAT for customers outside the EU
According to our review, our store does not charge VAT to customers outside the European Union – and we’re double-checking everything to ensure this remains correct and transparent.
Refunds Are Coming
To all customers who were overcharged due to the shipping error, we will be issuing partial refunds automatically over the next few business days. No action is needed on your part — we’ve got you covered.

Yes, V2 is long range
I don’t have concrete numbers yet but several hundred meters are possible
The handle as well als all other parts can be printed in any material that does not contain carbon fibers.
I personally just use PLA+
Perfect ! I tried to order but there is still VAT for Guadeloupe (which is outside the EU). I sent you an email.
I watch your build instructions video. What is included with your DIY kit ? (screws, cables, glue ?) And what is not included, that I can see in this video ?
I asked about the vat - similar situation coming to Australia. Apparently it is deducted but that isn’t shown in the checkout menu. Pretty sure we can trust these guys

Can you check the VAT issue regarding Guadeloupe? (I’ve stopped receiving email replies).
Guadeloupe is exempt from VAT (I pay it when the package arrives here).

The short answer is that you get everything you need to build a BREmote V2, except for the 3D print, when you order the basic kit. I will post a longer answer and list on openfoil.com and let you know.
