Has anyone a better idea to make it float?

Hey, did you try to disconnect the charger and turn the remote off and on again?

I just added a function “?printBat” to the Rx firmware, see GitHub. Update the file without “merged” to 0x10000 like in my video
After that, in the serial terminal you can put “?printBat” to see the measured voltage. Quit by sending “quit” Also, in the config tool you can grab the current “ubat_cal” and put both to this page: Calibration Factor Calculator
The page will then give you a new ubat_cal that you can put in the configuration and write back to the remote.

It’s done and it’s still the same thing

In that case there likely is a failure in hardware. Please contact Jasmin from openfoil for a replacement of both Tx PCBs.

looks quite small. does it have enough “lift” for the bremote 2?

I want to use the pigtail antenna plug on the rx because of space limitations. Is it possible to switch? Is it enough to unsolder/cut the middle connection to the sma plug?

Thanks!

You can try to use it without any modifications, if you have problems with range cut the small trace to the SMA

Is there a CAD or technical drawing of the Rx and BEC board available for refencing to draw up a box? Only the schematic is on the GitHub. Thanks. I have these images which will get me 98% of the way but helpful if I can get the original.

Here are the dxf files

IMPORTANT UPDATE
Hi everybody, together with @Jan12 I found a bug in the Tx code. In some case the gears and throttle were calculated incorrectly, resulting in a “wrap-around” of the throttle output at high throttle inputs. Please update Tx like shown in my video.

Hi @ludwig_bre, just received my V2 and looks great, thank you! I am planning to put all electronics in a metal for a tow boogie build (keeping the battery separate). Since the GPS antenna cant receive from inside a metal box, would you recommend changing the provided gps antenna with something like the below with frequency of 1575.42±3MHz

Thank you!

Yes, that looks like a suitable antenna for the GPS. Just keep in mind to also buy a adapter from U.FL to SMA.

My box design is shared at Bremote V2 Rx Box for Tow Boogie by seagullnz - Thingiverse It’s very specific to my needs with the Bremote BEC & GPS. I also include mould for an additional silicone gasket on the external antenna, inspired by @hangloose

@ludwig_bre the AMPJet is lauched now FLITELab* AMPJET – Fliteboard™ Europe
