I decided to make the engine fasteners out of aluminum, since the printed one cracked again!
Hi!
question…
esc 75200 of the new sample works decently?
I had the previous one. dead.
Thanks.
I installed it at the end of the season, used it only a few times. The next season will show!
why the price is 3 times less than the old version???
alarming.
I’ve been thinking about it too. Let’s see how it will work.
Yes! the season will show.
Anatoly, hello! And how did you do the cooling of the new ESC? Did you run water inside the aluminum box? How did you ensure that water does not get inside the ESC?
Hi! Since the esc was previously a water-cooled esc, the water supply system from the incoming flow remained. The water rises to the top and passes under the box. But you didn’t have to do that.Since the new esc is bolted to a copper plate, and the plate is in an aluminum box, which is mounted on an aluminum mast, there is enough metal for cooling. The box is sealed, but everything inside is filled with a two-component compound for electronics.
Anatoly, glad to see you! On the topic of this electronic board: I have the lower part filled with sealant. And the top board looks like this. Did you cover the top board with sealant?
I want to use K-68 two component compound.
Hi! At the bottom under the board is thermal paste. The board is two-story, I filled both boards. And before pouring, I varnished the boards.
First, I filled the silagerm box with ohm, I did not remove the top cover of the esc. But in the fall we skated in very cold water. And it turned out that if there are voids in the esc box, condensation falls out there. And so it happened. Esc began to work incorrectly. After disassembling it, I found a plaque on the contacts of the chip. I cleaned it and varnished it for electronics. Now everything works! I will fill it with sealant for the junction box.
Nice work @Anatoly I think that RayTech Gel is the same thing as the Mpgel Plus and its a little easier to find in smaller quantities, at least in the USA.
It looks like it is!Also IP68!
A little more than a month remains until the opening of the season! Filled the esc with a new compound. It’s good that it’s transparent, you can diagnose its operation by LEDs. I installed a Bluetooth module to connect to a computer and phone without a wire, but I also left the usb wire just in case!
