Btw, we also have a dark theme, some of you might prefer that.
To enable click in your user icon, user, preferences 
… then interface and select the Foil Zone Dark:

Question. Is there an option to stop showing the top banner on a mobile?
Now it is loading everytime. I’m sure that this was not the case before.
Correct right now the banner is showing for all, users can’t remove it. We reduced the height to make it less obstructing. Before it only showed for anonymous. We can change it back to that behavior in the future.
Okay. In that case I will block it with adblock for now.
But that’s the only way the founders and maintainers of the forum make money to support it. Click on it instead of blocking, in other words.
Yes thanks, regarding the adds we just make enough to cover the hosting cost. Every click helps 
. Right now add only show to anonymous and very new members. So many here won’t even know we have them. @Kian was referring to the image with the different foiling photos on top which is part of the forum theme and not an ad. We may remove it if it’s annoying. I like it right now.
