Summary of my communication with the manufacturer
Q: I want to treat outrunner motor for e-foil ocean use. Meaning the salt water will contact the metal all the time when in use.
Which corrosionX to choose (in spray form) the red one or the HD one?
A: We would suggest the HD. It has much more tenacity during salt water submersion.
Q: But will it penetrate inside the bearings when spraying?
A: It will likely to creep into unsealed bearing over time. Most people apply to much CorrosionX for the job, It really should be applied so light that it will not wash out a bearing.
