Flipsky vx5 remote

Both Maytech and the previous flipsky vx3 use this method as far as I can tell. With RC i do remember there were ‘‘binding’’ plugs, but the chances of someone connecting to your board in that split second, is highly unlikely.

Pretty amazing.
From a security design this is a no no.
It is so simple to pull off.

And given how fed up a number of people are with foil drive users at surf spots, they can be happy this is not widely known.

The main reason for me would be to use one VX5 remote with two different receivers, for example in two different boards/setups.

I don’t mean controlling two receivers simultaneously. I would simply like the remote to remember two receivers, so I could select which one I want to use, or have it connect to the receiver that is powered on.

Of course, I agree that this should be implemented carefully. I wouldn’t want the remote to automatically connect to a random receiver nearby. A receiver selection or some kind of receiver ID/profile would probably be the safest solution.

For me it would mainly mean that I don’t need a separate remote for every board/setup.

You can do that now. Choose which board you want to use and pair the remote with it - go ride - come in - decide you want to use a different board - pair your remote to ir - go ride. As long as each board has a VX5 receiver you can do that as many times as you want.
