I’ll give it a try. The two pins are angled backwards towards the motor, so the elasticity of the strap creates tension, which holds the strap in place. I have had to cut it down from 25mm so you can see a knot of orange band that I have not cut off yet, and I have not cut the band to length.

Do you find stretching the strap by hand convenient?
How does it secure the strap on the fixed side?

I actually have only printed a prototype and don’t have any experience putting it on with the motor attached, but I think it is going to be a little fiddly because the strap on the non-fixed size has to be cut down to give only 30mm of length after the last belt hole. Might be a little bit tricky to stretch but I think the user would get used to it.
On the fixed side the strap gets a little bit wider and it seats on a small shelf. I don’t have this strap so I am either going to 3D print my own or cut up the existing strap (which I am doing now). Check out the picture you can see on the left hand side.

The Mount they are selling is not the same as what is being sold by MOOSE. It is actually a lot better in design. Despite Moose saying they are selling his design, it is not
It is certainly no more similar to moose’s, as Moose’s is to strongarm’s.
I like in Moose design that the mounting holes are going only through the petg base. I don’t like that the strap is not flash with the mast.

I am not actually referring to this design at all. Not even slightly. As you say its quite different. Cant comment on how much better it is - but since you feel quite strongly about this. Will take your word for it.
I have however seen examples of my exact version of this design being sold in Europe and in China.
Just to clarify (again). I am not up in arms about people selling the design i worked on, nor can i do anything about it. I simply said if they are selling them - i feel its perfectly reasonable for me to sell my own version. (for $15 i might add) Not exactly paying the bills.
